Our History
How we first began..
We were founded back in 1983, and first began as a trading company selling souvenirs & products to sea men who would dock on the Singapore shores and are looking for something to bring back home to their families & friends.
Our founder, took this opportunity to dive in into the trading business hence, the birth of the name Laut Mas which translates to ‘Sea of Gold’.
After years of voyage out at sea, the waves gradually propelled us towards the signage business, and from there, we slowly pivoted our main business from tourism trading to signage fabrication.
As we still do have a knack in trading, we have continued in keeping the hustle, but have chosen to migrate from tourism to facilities trading, offering quality facility equipment for retail, F&B and office buildings.
